Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Reinhard Schomäcker
Reinhard Schomäcker (born in 1959) studied chemistry at the University of Bielefeld. Diploma in 1984 and Doctoral Degree in Physical Chemistry in 1987. In 1990 he finished a Habilitation thesis at the Max-Planck-Institut for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen. Also in 1990 he joined the chemical engineering group of the Central Research Laboratories of the Bayer AG in Leverkusen. In 1992 he became Privatdozent for physical chemistry at the University of Cologne in addition to his appointment with the Bayer AG. In 1996 he was appointed as professor of Technical Chemistry at the TU Berlin.
