  • Biokon: Das Verbundprojekt „Biogene Polymerkondensate für den Einsatz in der Grundwassersanierung und im Trinkwasserschutz“ (Biokon) hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, wirksame Adsorbentien zu entwickeln, um in Verbindung mit einer robusten Aufbereitungstechnik per- und polyfluorierte Chemikalien (PFC) sowie leichtflüchtige chlorierte Kohlenwasserstoffverbindungen (LCKW) aus Wasserkreisläufen und Böden zu eliminieren. Im Arbeitskreis werden speziell Untersuchungen zur Wechselwirkung von Mikroschadstoffen mit Biokondensaten durchgeführt, die zunächst dazu dienen, eine erhöhte Mobilität der Schadstoffe aus der Bodenmatrix zu erhalten. Im Anschluss stehen dann mit der Filtration und Flotation verschiedene Prozessschritte zur Verfügung, mit denen die gebunden Schadstoffe aus dem Wasser eliminiert werden können. Für den Gesamtprozess gilt es, die optimalen Bedingungen für die Mobilisation und die Eliminierung der Mikroschadstoffe zu finden.
